Reon Argondian and his Magical Cavern

About the Magical Cavern

Reon's project "Magical Cavern" has a long history that started in the 70's in Brittany.

The Magical Cavern on Petřín Hill in Prague opened to the public in 2005. There is around 80 paintings in a three storey house that Reon has made into a cavern-like museum of his imaginary realm called Argondia with the help of many original sculptures and a load of plaster and paint.

The Magical Cavern on Petřín Hill is not just an art gallery but it is also a unique piece of art in itself. The place has a very special atmosphere and there are places to sit and enjoy a nice drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are offered at no additional costs.)
